Case Brief
First Light provides crisis intervention and free professional counselling services to bereaved families who have suddenly lost a child. First Light required a new website that would reflect the sensitive nature of its services while also aiding in the delivery of its services.
Challenge
First Light is a small non-profit who required a full-scale website within a tight budget. We worked closely with them to implement best practice across the sector along with advising them on the best systems to quickly develop high-value, high-impact campaigns.
They also wanted to develop a secure and stable system for their counsellors to provide online sessions with their service users.

Solution
We built a website in a format that is easy for First Light staff to manage and update all content, without needing significant experience or support from our team. We managed to reduce their ongoing costs as well as empowering them to maximise their impact.
Our digital user manual had step-by-step screenshots of how every change and update could be made. This fits in with our belief of empowering our clients. It’s beneficial to us aswell as our clients to get more value from the website and can grow their online presence further.
As a result of our work, First Light are now moving most services online, such as video counselling and internal communications. This will greatly increase the impact of their organisation, as well as the number of people they can serve.
